Paid RE Internships - £250 per week for 4 weeks

Why not consider applying for a 4 week paid teaching internship?
This programme has been designed to provide support and training opportunities in June 2020 for RE, Theology, Philosophy, Ethics, History graduates and undergraduates due to complete their degree before June 2021, to experience Religious Education teaching in a Catholic secondary school before they commit to it as a career.

We are looking to recruit and engage potential interns in an exciting, informative and bespoke programme. 
This is a paid programme which offers a sustained introduction to secondary teaching experience over a 4 week period, with 4 information/training days, opportunities for shadowing, blended with personal support activities. Completion of the internship will guarantee you an interview for our secondary ITT programme commencing September 2021.

Places available:  5 

Requirements
GCSEs (or equivalents) including Mathematics, English Language and RE, grades A*-C
A Level (or equivalent) in RE is desirable
Awarded or presently undertaking a degree course in
RE, Theology, Philosophy, Ethics or History
To be available for an interview on Thursday 23 April 2020 

To be available throughout the 4 week programme, Monday 8 June to Friday 3 July 2020 
Consent to a Disclosure and Barring Service and referencing checks.  These posts are exempt from Section 4(2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975.

Deadline for applications: 5pm Monday 30 March 2020
