Cost of Training

Tuition Fee
The School Direct PGCE courses are full-time for one academic year.

The tuition fee for the School Direct (non-salaried) courses in the 2021/22 academic year is £9,250 for UK students.

Most students choose to take a student loan and the Student Loan Company pays the fees directly to the university.
If a student loan is not taken, then the fees can be paid directly to the university either in full or through a maximum of 3 instalments.

There is funding available, subject to eligibility, for some School Direct (non-salaried) courses in the form of scholarships and bursaries. Additional funding may be available in the form of
Parents' Learning Allowances, Childcare Grants, or Child Tax Credits. Follow the link to find out more - Teaching Training Fees and Funding in England

Additional Costs
Students will have to pay their travel expenses to attend training days and whilst on placement.
