The CTA East Lancs Primary Hub is a more recent extension of the well-established Preston Primary Hub.  We are proud to offer Early Years and Primary Initial Teacher Training for a small, inclusive cohort of trainees; a group who will become a support network throughout the course and beyond. We devote time to getting to know our trainees well in order to guide, support and challenge them in order to prepare them for a successful and enriching career in teaching.

A strength of our programme is our alliance of schools who already work so well together.  They have requested and welcome CTA trainees into their school family with a passion for supporting them within the classroom and in the wider school life. One of the many benefits the CTA offers is a significant amount of time in the classroom, learning from current outstanding practitioners who are passionate about what they do. These days in the classroom are supported by training, delivered by experienced teachers and leaders of education, that supports growth in subject knowledge and the pedagogical thinking and research that underpins high quality teaching.

If you are hardworking, relish a challenge and want to make a difference to the children who are placed in your care, we can provide the support, knowledge and experience you will need to achieve a Post Graduate Certificate in Education with Qualified Teacher Status.
