Working in an academic collaborative partnership with the University of Cumbria we have designed an exciting programme that combines school placement experiences across our large partnership of schools with training and development opportunities at both the Lancaster Campus of
the University and our local training hubs in Preston and Blackburn.

Although it is not necessary for trainees to be Catholic, a key aspect of our partnership is the provision of the opportunity to experience high quality teacher training within an environment based on Catholic values and ethos.

Our teacher training programmes put schools at the heart of the process.  This route, PGCE with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), for primary, secondary and sixth form teachers, is ideal if you want to spend most of your time in school while you train.
